Technician - Heavy Equipment Machinery

Our client, a leader in the heavy machinery industry, is seeking an experienced Technician to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of heavy equipment, ensuring optimal performance and adherence to safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on heavy machinery including various types of Mobile Elevated Work Platforms (MEWPs) and their components. This includes Boom Lifts, Scissor Lifts, Telehandlers, Spider Lifts, Forklifts, and Truck-Mounted Lifts.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues using advanced diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Perform thorough inspections and tests to ensure machinery operates efficiently and safely.
• Maintain detailed records of repairs, maintenance activities, and inspections performed.
• Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations during equipment operation and maintenance.
• Provide mentorship and technical support to junior technicians as required.
  
  

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
• Proven 5 years experience with Aerial Work Platforms (AWPs) and Mobile Elevated Work Platforms (MEWPs), including Boom Lifts, Scissor Lifts, Telehandlers, Spider Lifts, Forklifts and Truck-Mounted Lifts.
• Experience with brands such as Komatsu, JLG, Haulotte, Genie, Palazzani, Comet and other relevant brands.
• Candidates currently based in the UAE,KSA and Qatar who are available for a face-to-face interview.
• Strong technical expertise in hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical schematics and diagrams.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with customers and team members.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing work schedules and additional hours.
• Fluency in English, with effective technical communication skills.
• Willingness to travel as required.
• Valid UAE, KSA and Qatar driving license is preferred.
