Job Purpose

Perform preventive, breakdown and shutdown mechanical maintenance activities of Service Stations to support smooth and safe operations. Self-Drive to the locations in company provided vehicle from Base and back.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Carry out the service, repair and maintenance activities of all mechanical systems and equipment including all fuel dispensers, pipelines, valves, transfer pumps, Lube equipment’s, measurement instruments, process facilities, air compressors, generators and storage tanks, in accordance with corporate, engineering, and technical standards and safety and environmental requirements.
  • Conduct regular routine and scheduled inspection and maintenance of all mechanical equipment such as fuel dispensers, product pumps & pipelines, storage tanks, air compressors & generator equipment. Inspect equipment for signs of corrosion, assist in implementing anti corrosive/ protection techniques, maintain records and monitor condition continually.
  • Test rotating and static equipment after repair for satisfactory operations.
  • Work according to diagrams and read/Interpret test gauges and meters.
  • Start all mobile equipment daily and checks for satisfactory working, report and attend to faults, carry out periodic checks on all mobile and static equipment and record accordingly on standards forms.
  • Attend all assigned breakdowns promptly, carry out necessary repair works and ensure that equipment is returned Safely to service as soon as possible, while ensuring all safety precautions are taken.
  • Ensure the safety instructions are rigidly adhered to during all stages of the work in a hazardous area (safety checks).
  • Carry out major overhaul of mechanical equipment and testing and calibration of equipment.
  • Carry out Fuel dispensers meter calibration, pressure gauge testing and calibration of equipments.

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:

  • Technical Diploma or Secondary School Certificate with a vocational trade certificate in the relevant field.
  • 4 years of experience in Maintenance department in Oil and Gas Industry.
  • Familiar with international and UAE refinery industry standards and protocols.
  • Have knowledge of the Oil and Gas Industry.
  • Excellent organizational, management and planning skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities.
