We are seeking a Telecommunication Radio Expert as a part of our DB Engineering & Consulting GmbH Abu Dhabi. The job opening is in Abu Dhabi, UAE, and offers exciting challenges and potential for career growth.

Responsibilities:

• Review, approve and monitor the Client Contractors’ configuration control plan that will define a process to maintain consistency across the design of the various components of the railway system
• Supervise and ensure quality assurance for the installation, testing, and commissioning of telecommunication systems, with special focus on safety and operationally relevant subsystems
• Conduct and document inspections, tests, and acceptances (e.g. Factory Acceptance Testing, First Article Inspections) of telecommunication and radio systems
• Ensure compliance with international and regional standards, as well as project-specific re-quirements
• Review and approve test plans, methods, and reports submitted by contractors
• Coordinate with other project stakeholders, especially in interface management and the inte-gration of telecommunication systems into the overall railway system
• Support the preparation and implementation of safety and quality management plans
• Document and track deviations, ensuring their resolution
• Participate in meetings and coordinate with stakeholders and contractors
  
  
  

Qualifications:

• University degree (preferably Master’s and/or Chartered Engineer status)
• Minimum 15 years of experience in managing design and/or construction of rail projects
• Proven experience in the implementation of telecommunication and radio systems—ideally in high-speed rail projects
• Must have previously held the same position for at least one project of similar size
• Local Experience in Middle East and/or UAE project experience is advantageous
• Fluent in spoken and written English ins mandatory; Arabic language skills would be an advantage
• Experience in quality management, interface coordination, and working with both international and local stakeholders
