Job Brief:

We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Trade Assistant to join our Finance Department. The role involves coordinating with banks, managing trade-related transactions, and ensuring efficient documentation and communication for financial operations. The ideal candidate should have excellent organizational skills and a strong understanding of banking and trade processes.

Job Responsibilities:

Coordinate with banks and internal teams on documentation related to:

- Letters of credit.

- Bank guarantees.

- Short-term and medium-term loan applications.

- Account openings and other required banking documents for group companies.

• Manage trade-related transactions, including letters of credit and guarantees.
• Maintain and update trackers for all trade documents.
• Assist with KYC processes and account opening requirements.
• Facilitate listing of group companies with banks for employee credit facilities.
• Manage merchant agreements and services.
• Submit and collect required banking documents.
• Handle salary transfer letters for group employees.
• Prepare group-level cheque bounce reports.
• Draft bank account confirmation letters for subsidiary companies.
• Assist with bank account maintenance and modification tasks.
• Transmit shipment documents and guarantees to relevant units.

Job Requirements:

• 1 - 2 years of experience in trade operations or financial administration is preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of banking processes and trade-related documentation.
• Proficiency in maintaining trackers and managing large volumes of data.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Familiarity with KYC processes and merchant agreements.
