Role Summary:


We have an exciting opportunity for a Vessel Boarding Executive to join our team in Dubai. The Vessel Boarding Executive is responsible for overseeing the safe and efficient boarding of personnel, cargo, and supplies onto vessels at the port. This role ensures compliance with maritime regulations, port security protocols, and company policies while maintaining smooth operations between port authorities, ship crew, and logistics teams.


Contract: Permanent

Location: Jebel Ali Port, Dubai (On Site)


Key Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Coordinate and supervise the boarding process for crew, passengers, inspectors, and service personnel.
  • Verify boarding permissions, identification, and necessary documentation (visas, seaman’s books, etc.).
  • Ensure compliance with ISPS (International Ship and Port Facility Security) Code and port regulations.
  • Oversee the loading/unloading of cargo, provisions, and equipment, ensuring proper documentation.
  • Liaise with customs, immigration, and port authorities for clearance procedures.
  • Report incidents, delays, or security breaches to the relevant authorities.
  • Act as the primary point of contact between vessel crew, port agents, and logistics teams.
  • Address queries from ship captains, shipping agents, and port officials.
  • Maintain accurate records of boarding activities, crew changes, and cargo manifests.
  • Prepare reports for port authorities and company management.
  • Ensure all documentation is processed correctly.


Who You Are:


  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Excellent verbal/written communication in English (Arabic languages a plus).
  • Ability to work in shifts (24/7 port operations).
  • Physically fit for vessel inspections and port-side duties.
  • Hold a valid UAE Driver License.
