Vice President, Compliance Consulting

Kroll is looking for a Vice President to join our Compliance Consulting practice in Dubai to help clients form businesses, obtain initial licensing or registration, and provides ongoing compliance advice to help them navigate a rapidly changing regulatory environment. As part of our Financial Services Compliance and Regulation practice, you will assist asset managers, PE firms, investment firms and other regulated financial services clients to obtain initial authorisations, or registrations and conduct audits and independent reviews. Our team also provides ongoing outsourced compliance support and regulatory advice to help navigate the rapidly changing regulatory landscape.

Navigating Responsibilities

• Manage and develop a relationship of trust with our customers
• Advice and implementation of specific solutions to meet the needs of our clients: updating the collection of procedures, risk mapping, preparation for an inspection by the supervisory authority
• Development and maintenance of the firm's internal tools
• Evaluation of the systems in place with our clients with recommendations to be made in the short and medium term
• Carry out and ultimately assume responsibility for supervising checks carried out at our clients' premises
• Analyze the impact of regulatory developments on our clients
• Ensure regulatory monitoring with customers through training and conferences as well as by writing articles or monitoring notes
  
  

Essential Traits

• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
• Solid knowledge of the regulatory universe of Investment Service Providers and Portfolio Management Companies in the UAE
• Relevant experience of at least 7 years within a financial institution or consulting firm
• Excellent interpersonal skills enabling teamwork
• A strong capacity for adaptation, rigor and proactivity allowing us to contribute to the excellence of our service to customers
• Clear and logical reasoning ability, ability to make decisions and articulate them clearly
• Excellent writing skills
• Excellent time management and ability to work under pressure
