As Vice President - Enterprise Analytics Enablement, drive the delivery of actionable business insights through a Business Intelligence Centre of Excellence by providing best-in-class and statistically sound quantitative analysis to improve Emirates Group’s performance and profitability. Provide cross-functional strategic transformation leadership in enabling and promoting the adoption of a data-driven culture across the organisation, including the associated change management.

In This Role, You Will
- Develop a framework which facilitates data-driven decision making. Enable the strategic use of data in the enterprise and deliver the role that prioritises analytics across the Emirates Group to effect the full exploitation of data and analytics for monetary gain.
- Define the roles and mechanisms that deliver a central function which provides analytical leadership, knowledge and insights to lines of business, cross-functional collaboration and enhanced decision quality and timeliness.
- Define and implement the framework and mechanisms needed to translate enterprise information and analytics programmes into structured, achievable and measurable portfolios, as well as the associated reporting mechanisms, engagement protocols and ROI/business value metrics.
- Implement the framework for a best in class analytics function for the Enterprise that delivers the Enterprise Performance Management Framework in alignment with governed standardisation of analytics and information quality.
- Deliver the creation and stewardship of the federated information and analytics community through engagement with leaders and community members throughout the business to build alignment across analytics, governance, data stewardship, product ownership and agile methodologies within these communities.
- Develop the roadmap of transformation activities that deliver the information driven business, through the creation of a portfolio of educational assets and change programmes with outcomes able to be measured in qualitative and quantitative metrics.
- Create the overarching structure that defines the roles, responsibilities and governing mechanisms to deliver the information and analytics initiatives funded through the Enterprise agile delivery model. Build the capability of the portfolio management and business support teams which guide the business through this transformation. Engage the business community to contribute through product ownership, acceptance and stewardship roles and ensure the smooth functioning of the agile model through close collaboration with the Head of Technical Analytics Delivery.
- Plan and execute the strategic delivery of education, communication and community programmes that deliver structured, continuous learning programmes to the business community which are tailored to stakeholders at an enterprise, executive, functional and individual level.
- Lead the transition of business within the enterprise agile framework to eradicate existing inefficiencies resulting from IT and business demarcation. Define and oversee the implementation of support structures for business and agile teams in developing, planning and implementing portfolios.
- Create and foster a culture that promotes innovation, collaboration and community, with a clear focus on improving profitability of the Emirates Group. Promote analytic usage and skills among management and employees through change programmes that include training and mentoring in analytical skills and the adoption of analytics tools.
To be considered for the role, the Post Holder must meet the following requirements:
- Masters Degree (12+5 or equivalent) in quantitative field such as Economics, Business Administration / Management Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, Computer Science or a similar field.
- 12+ yrs international experience in various quantitative disciplines including Strategic Planning, Business Intelligence, Business Analytics, Sales & Marketing, preferably in the airline industry.
- Practical experience in information management, business intelligence, analytics and multidimensional reporting.
- Managed and effected transformational change in a large organisation. Operated successfully in a team environment and in a cross-cultural, multi-regional setting.
- Exceptional commercial acumen and strong business quantitative skills
- Demonstrated empowering leadership qualities, strong delegation, feedback and coaching skills, leading by example and championing of organizational strategies and goals
- Strong influencing skills particularly 'storytelling with data' ability to effectively liaise at all levels.
