Vice President, Real Estate Private Equity

Your key responsibilities:

• Collaborates closely with the Chief Investment Officer to define and execute the firm's investment strategy.
• Sets clear investment objectives, risk parameters, and return targets.
• Drives optimal capital allocation across property types, geographies, and investment strategies.
• Designing and structuring multi-asset portfolios, encompassing both liquid and illiquid assets.
• Implementation of Asset allocation strategies, including macro strategies and absolute return portfolio management.
• Private equity fund structuring, including capital raising, deal execution (acquisitions, dispositions, development), portfolio management, and fund performance measurement.
• Deal sourcing, underwriting, and asset management.
• Lead global investment teams and execute global investment strategies across private market asset classes.
• Conducts thorough market research and analysis to proactively identify investment opportunities and assess potential risks.
• Prepares high-quality investor communications, including quarterly newsletters, quarterly risk reviews, and marketing presentations.
• Presents investment proposals to the investment committee and participates in investor meetings and conferences.
• Prioritizes the day-to-day monitoring of real estate investment performance, tracking key metrics such as occupancy rates, rental income, and operating expenses.
• Working with fund administrators and back-office teams on requirements for capital calls, distributions, and other communications.
• Oversees the due diligence process for potential mergers and acquisitions, including financial, legal, and technical assessments.
• Ensures that all investments adhere to relevant regulations and industry standards.

• Education:

Bachelor's degree in Banking and Finance or any relevant field.

• Preferred Qualifications:
• Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation
• International Certificate in Wealth and Investment Management (CISI)
• Certified Financial Modeling & Valuation Analyst (FMVA)
• Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA)

Knowledge:

• Strong understanding of real estate principles, investment strategies, and market dynamics.
• In-depth knowledge of fund management principles, including portfolio construction, risk management, performance analysis and AML regulations applicable to the real estate industry.
• Analytical & Financial Modeling Skills: Demonstrate proficiency in financial analysis, projections, sensitivity analysis, valuation (DCF, Multiples), and market research.

Skills:

Strong management skills with the ability to effectively lead and communicate with global teams.

Experience:

Any relevant work experience in real estate investing or portfolio management.
