Responsibilities

Providing support to Senior / Desk Support Lead in the below

• Provides second-level hardware and software support (operating system, MS-office, basic network troubleshooting, hardware and peripherals), including desk-side or remote technical support for user escalations identified by the service desk
• Ensures the effective and timely resolution of technical problems and keeping customers informed of the status of their requests and finally informing the service desk of the status of calls and solutions if done
• Assists in configuring and deploying desktop/laptop hardware and software, contributing to the proper installation, maintenance and disposal of desktop computers and printers
• Assists in relocating or moving existing PCs, printers and hardware as requested by the users, service desk and the Senior Officer
• Provides technical support in setting up presentation facilities including laptops and projectors
• Assists account management application (Windows Active Directory) to create new accounts, email addresses, resets passwords and give privileges as mentioned in the IT department/section policy
• Guides and updates the register of IT assets and contributes to audits of IT licensing arrangements
• Coordinates with the procurement team to coordinate the effective and timely supply and distribution of IT consumables/peripherals
• Compiles and implement the annual IT assets verification
• Provides real-time analytics (Nexthink Platform), employee feedback and automated remediation IT needs to continuously improve the digital employee experience for the flexible workplace.
• Acts as the receiving point of new IT Assets and Utilize the Service Level Agreements with the suppliers.
• Administers printing services, it terms of installation, drivers, scanning enable and secure print solution
