Role Overview
The VP – Operations, APAC/IMEA plays a critical leadership role in shaping the operational strategy and driving operational excellence for APAC/IMEA markets. This role is accountable for business growth, operational performance (including efficiency gains, waste elimination, best practice implementation, and cost of goods management), customer satisfaction, and team development. The position combines strategic leadership with hands-on operational management to ensure Brink’s remains a benchmark for excellence across diverse markets.
Responsibilities
Own the P&L for assigned APAC/IMEA markets, driving revenue growth, profitability, and cost efficiency.
Develop and execute long-term operational strategies aligned with Brink’s global transformation agenda.
Build strong partnerships with senior leadership, functional teams, and clients to deliver integrated solutions.
Lead transformation initiatives including standardization, automation, and process improvement.
Champion a culture of continuous improvement and Lean methodologies to optimize performance.
Establish and track operational scorecards, KPIs, and metrics that measure and drive excellence.
Identify and pursue opportunities for service expansion, efficiency, and innovation.
Act as a subject matter expert in operational models, route optimization, and service delivery.
Build, mentor, and retain high-performing teams with a focus on diversity, inclusion, and development.
Foster a culture of accountability, safety, and engagement across all levels of the business.
Ensure operational practices deliver exceptional service quality and client satisfaction.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with external stakeholders including regulators, clients, and strategic partners.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in operations or a related field.
15+ years of progressive operations experience in areas such as customer service, logistics, go-to-market, performance & efficiency, network optimization, and transformation.
At least 5 years at a senior operational leadership level with proven senior leadership and transformational experience in multi-country operations.
Strong financial acumen with demonstrated success in managing P&L, budgeting, and forecasting.
Experience with Lean/continuous improvement methodologies.
Desired Qualifications
Advanced degree (MBA or similar).
Experience in secure logistics, transportation, financial services, or related industries.
Ability and willingness to travel extensively across APAC/IMEA markets.
Skills & Experience
Expertise in operational transformation and process optimization.
Ability to manage complex organizations and navigate ambiguity in global markets.
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
Proven ability to build, mentor, and retain high-performing teams.
Exposure to unionized work environments is an advantage.
