Job Summary

We're looking for a passionate and service-oriented Waiter/Waitress to join our dynamic hospitality team. You will be the face of our restaurant, creating exceptional guest experiences through warm interactions, food knowledge, and efficient service.

Required Qualifications

• 1–2 years’ experience in a coffee cafe, preferably in a fast-paced restaurant.
• Positive attitude, team spirit, and strong communication skills.
• Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
• Ability to upsell and engage with guests confidently.
• Familiarity with POS systems and order-taking processes.
• A hospitality diploma or relevant training is an advantage.

Key Responsibilities

• Consistently deliver warm, respectful, and culturally sensitive guest service.
• Adhere to all Health & Safety regulations and municipality guidelines.
• Complete Basic Food & Hygiene training with a passing score.
• Greet, seat, and thank guests with professionalism and enthusiasm.
• Answer guest queries about menu items and suggest popular dishes or daily specials.
• Confidently explain ingredients and cooking methods.
• Input orders accurately using POS or tablet systems.
• Serve food and beverages promptly and efficiently.
• Check on guests during meals and resolve any service issues with care.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the dining area at all times.
• Clear tables, reset for the next service, and support kitchen and floor teams.
• Handle payments accurately and politely.
• Participate in opening, closing, and shift setup duties.
• Support management with additional tasks as needed.
