WAREHOUSE ASSISTANT

Job Description

• Support the Warehouse Team Leader in the end-to-end execution of warehouse operations including inbound receipt, putaway, order picking, packing, and outbound dispatch, ensuring accuracy and adherence to SOPs.
• Perform systematic inventory movements using LFS Warehouse Management System (WMS) and RF scanners to maintain data accuracy and order traceability.
• Assist in handling and storage of high-value or serialized components in line with client-specific handling protocols and safety standards.
• Operate MHE equipment (manual and powered pallet jacks, trolleys) responsibly, ensuring compliance with operational safety and product care procedures.
• Conduct accurate cycle counts and stock audits, reporting discrepancies to the Team Leader for timely resolution.
• Collaborate in maintaining a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment, following 5S principles and supporting high-density storage discipline.
• Participate in daily toolbox talks, safety briefings, and on-the-job training to enhance skills and awareness of HSE procedures.
• Assist in proper labelling, documentation handling, and packaging to ensure dispatch readiness and compliance with customer and regulatory standards.
• Provide cross-functional support during peak workloads or staff shortages as directed by the Team Leader.
• Report any performance, safety, or operational issues promptly to the Warehouse Team Leader and assist in implementing corrective actions.
