The Warehouse Supervisor is a key role within UD Trucks’ SPOL function, which integrates/coordinates with a 3PL team to manage the Warehouse Operations focusing on safety, quality and cost-efficiency to ensure on-time order deliveries to customers to support customer satisfaction.

You will be member of our UDT SPOL Dubai team, that is responsible for a wide span of activities including Supplier management, Inbound & outbound coordination, allocation of customers’ orders, shipment planning, invoicing, documentation and provide support to other functions across UD Trucks in general.

In this role, you will be responsible for Inventory maintenance using the VIPS system ensuring 100% Stock integrity and effectively drive operations excellence to support the business needs and customer satisfaction. You will coordinate the fulfilment of customer orders

Responsibilities And Duties

• Coordinate with 3PL team leader for smooth operations execution and secure achievement of KPI targets.
• Develop and maintain relation with other functions such as SPOL Dubai Market support.
• Warehouse Inventory location update/maintenance in line with VIPS system.
• Secure all customer orders are completed as per cut-off/priority.
• Report warehouse activities and productivity of the 3PL team.
• Measure/monitor the operational performance of 3PL team.
• Support any ad hoc queries/reports.
• Immediate reporting of any safety related incidents (near-miss) or accidents on operations floor.
• Oversee Cycle Count tasks with 3PL team and submit reports weekly/monthly.
• Secure high level workplace organization (5S).
• Lead/develop/suggest Kaizen ideas to continuously improve the warehouse operations and processes.
• Conduct RCA for any discrepancy claims, nil picks, inventory issues, CC difference or other operations related problems.
• Conduct random audit on warehouse processes to identify any failure in SOP adherence.
• Oversee daily QRQC sessions with warehouse team.
• Identify training needs and train the warehouse staff on SOP’s.
• Execute ABC Inventory practices.
• Maintain records of warehouse consumables and submit reports periodically.
• Optimize processes and drive continuous improvements both individually and within the team.
  
  

Required Competencies/Experiences:

• Diploma/Degree with Logistics/Supply chain background or relevant work experience.
• At least 3 years of experience in Warehouse Operations leading a team.
• Automobile Parts warehouse experience will be an added advantage.
• High level of responsibility, able to work independently and escalate issues effectively.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills for effective coordination with other stakeholders
• Good Microsoft Office suite skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint & Outlook)
• Basics of VIPS System (AS-400) or handled any WMS/ERP systems.
• Knowledge of PSM tools to execute Lean operations.
• Experience in leading CI activities.
• Positive attitude and willing to continuously develop & learn
• Ability to follow structured processes and ensure consistent execution of tasks
