Job Purpose:

To ensure efficient workflow within the warehouse by optimizing processes, maintaining inventory and shipping accuracy, and utilizing resources effectively while adhering to safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Ensure efficient workflow within the warehouse, optimizing processes to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
• Maintain sufficient resources across all teams, working with team leaders to ensure optimal workforce and fleet utilization.
• Identify workforce needs and distribute manpower based on workload fluctuations.
• Maintain the highest standards of quality and compliance with Health, Safety, Security, and Environment (HSSE) requirements.
• Identify areas of concern and report to the Manager Warehouse collaborating with team leaders to resolve issues effectively.
• Minimize incorrect distribution of freight to ensure accurate and timely deliveries.
• Formulate and implement regular maintenance schedules to prevent unforeseen problems and ensure safety.
• Ensure the highest quality standards are met to exceed client QA requirements and maintain Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) standards.
• Guide new staff towards development, support on-the-job training, and ensure all team members have access to learning opportunities.
• Plan and delegate daily responsibilities, ensuring targets for shipping, task completion, space utilization, and manpower utilization are met.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field is preferred.
• Proven experience as a warehouse supervisor or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Proficient in using warehouse management systems (WMS) and other relevant software.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
