Auto Electrician | Motorhome and caravan Factory

Our client, Royal Shields Solutions, a leading motorhome and caravan manufacturer in the UAE, is seeking an experienced Auto Electrician to join their manufacturing facility in Ras Al Khaimah. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, testing, troubleshooting, and maintaining electrical systems in custom-built motorhomes and caravans while ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety.

The Role

Reporting to the production and technical teams, the Auto Electrician will oversee automotive electrical installations, diagnose electrical faults, and ensure all vehicle electrical systems are installed, tested, and functioning correctly throughout the manufacturing process.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain automotive electrical systems in motorhomes and caravans.
• Install and configure 12V and 24V electrical systems.
• Install batteries, inverters, solar systems, lighting, and power distribution components.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults using appropriate testing equipment.
• Read and interpret electrical wiring diagrams and technical drawings.
• Install vehicle accessories including cameras, entertainment systems, HVAC controls, and other electrical components.
• Conduct electrical testing and inspections to ensure quality and safety standards.
• Ensure all installations comply with technical specifications and manufacturing requirements.
• Collaborate with production, engineering, and quality teams.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and a safe working environment.
• Support continuous improvement of electrical installation processes.
  
  
  

Qualifications

• Diploma or Technical Certificate in Automotive Electrical Systems, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience as an Auto Electrician.
• Experience working with motorhomes, caravans, RVs, commercial vehicles, or specialty vehicles is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of automotive electrical systems, diagnostics, and fault finding.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Experience using electrical testing tools and diagnostic equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a manufacturing environment.
