Role Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and highly skilled Consultant Pediatric Hematologist to join a leading Hospital in Dubai. The ideal candidate will specialize in diagnosing and managing complex blood disorders in children, with a strong commitment to evidence-based care and multidisciplinary collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and treat pediatric hematologic conditions including:
  • Anemia, hemophilia, sickle cell disease, thalassemia
  • Platelet disorders, clotting abnormalities, bone marrow failure syndromes
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans including transfusions, iron chelation, and immunotherapy
  • Collaborate with pediatric oncologists, pathologists, and geneticists for integrated care
  • Provide counseling and education to families regarding disease management and long-term care
  • Participate in tumor boards, clinical audits, and quality improvement initiatives
  • Contribute to academic teaching, CME programs, and research activities

Qualifications & Experience

  • Certification: Board-certified in Pediatric Hematology (American Board, UK CCT, or equivalent)
  • Licensure: DHA eligibility or license required
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years post-specialization in a tertiary care or academic setting
  • Proven expertise in managing complex hematologic disorders in children
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a family-centered approach
