The Director of Civis Mundi is responsible for defining and executing the global strategy of Henley & Partners’ international private membership network.
The role oversees membership development, strategic projects, partnerships, events, revenue generation, and the overall membership roadmap, while driving new benefits and initiatives to enhance the member experience.
Main Responsibilities:
- Define and execute the global strategy and long-term vision for Civis Mundi.
- Develop annual business plans, budgets, KPIs, and growth initiatives.
- Drive continuous innovation to enhance the membership offering and member experience.
Membership Growth & Commercial Development
- Develop and implement strategies to drive global membership acquisition, retention, and engagement.
- Drive cross-selling opportunities between Civis Mundi and Henley & Partners' core services: investment migration, including residence and citizenship planning, education, concierge, wealth advisory, and family office solutions.
- Monitor membership performance and revenue targets.
Strategic Partnerships
- Identify and manage strategic partnerships that strengthen the Civis Mundi network, create member value, and generate commercial opportunities.
- Build relationships with governments, family offices, private banks, luxury brands, and international organizations.
Events & Community Development
- Oversee Civis Mundi’s global member engagement strategy, including flagship events private forums, networking dinners, webinars, and regional member gatherings.
- Work closely with the Events team to ensure exceptional execution and member experience.
- Represent Civis Mundi at international conferences and forums.
Marketing & Brand Development
- Define the Civis Mundi marketing strategy.
- Oversee marketing communications and digital content, ensuring brand consistency across all channels and member touchpoints.
- Collaborate with Henley & Partners' group marketing and communications teams to maximize visibility.
Team Leadership & Stakeholder Management
- Lead, mentor, and develop the Civis Mundi team.
- Build a high-performance culture with clear objectives, accountability, and measurable performance indicators.
- Develop strong relationships with internal stakeholders and regional offices, collaborating with senior leadership to support membership growth and strategic initiatives.
Financial & Operational Management
- Manage the Civis Mundi budget and overall financial performance, including revenues, costs, profitability, and return on investment.
- Prepare regular management reports for senior leadership.
Requirements:
- Minimum 10 years of experience in business development, wealth management, private banking, luxury services, consulting, or international membership organizations.
- Proven leadership experience managing international teams and projects.
- Demonstrated experience developing strategic partnerships.
- Experience working with ultra-high-net-worth individuals, family offices, and international private clients.
- Strong project management and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience in international event strategy and execution.
- Excellent presentation, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Strong analytical and financial management capabilities.
- Master's degree or equivalent professional experience preferred.
- Fluency in English; additional languages are considered an advantage.
