Fleet Manager – Car Rental & Leasing Operations

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced and results-driven Fleet Manager to lead and manage our large-scale vehicle rental and leasing operations in Sharjah, UAE. The ideal candidate must have proven experience managing a fleet of 1,000+ vehicles, with strong expertise in fleet utilization, annual budgeting, operational planning, revenue management, compliance, and customer service excellence.

This role requires a strategic leader who can drive operational efficiency, maximize profitability, and support business growth while ensuring the highest standards of fleet management and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee day-to-day car rental, long-term lease, and fleet operations.
• Ensure optimum fleet utilization and operational efficiency across all locations.
• Prepare and manage annual operational and capital budgets.
• Monitor fleet performance, profitability, and key operational KPIs.
• Develop and implement pricing strategies to maximize revenue and market competitiveness.
• Oversee vehicle procurement, disposal, maintenance, registration, insurance, and compliance requirements.
• Manage invoicing processes, vendor relationships, and cost-control initiatives.
• Identify opportunities for business expansion, customer acquisition, and market growth.
• Lead and develop operational teams to achieve performance and service excellence.
• Generate accurate operational and financial reports using fleet management systems.
• Ensure compliance with UAE regulations, company policies, and industry best practices.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance customer satisfaction and operational effectiveness.
  
  
  

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Logistics, Marketing, or a related field.
• Minimum 8–10 years of experience in fleet management, car rental, or vehicle leasing operations.
• Proven experience managing a fleet of 1,000+ vehicles within a reputable rental or leasing organization.
• Strong experience in annual budgeting, forecasting, and financial management.
• Sound knowledge of fleet utilization, pricing models, insurance, invoicing, and regulatory compliance.
• Proficiency in fleet management and car rental software systems.
• Strong leadership, analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
