The Healthcare Aide provides direct support to patients, assisting with daily care activities while ensuring safety, dignity, and emotional support. This role works closely with the clinical team to maintain a therapeutic, respectful, and patient-centered environment.

The Healthcare Aide provides direct support to patients, assisting with daily care activities while ensuring safety, dignity, and emotional support. This role works closely with the clinical team to maintain a therapeutic, respectful, and patient-centered environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding
- Support mobility, transfers, and positioning to ensure comfort and safety
- Monitor and report changes in residents’ physical and emotional condition
- Provide emotional support and companionship, promoting dignity and respect
- Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive care environment
- Follow infection control and safety protocols at all times
- Collaborate with nurses and the multidisciplinary team to deliver individualized care
- Diploma in Nursing
- Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in LTVU
- Basic knowledge of patient care, safety practices, and infection control.
- Compassionate, patient-focused approach with strong communication skills.
- Must have DOH License
