With stunning resorts located across the globe and exciting expansion planned, Kerzner International currently has a fantastic opportunity for a Laundry Attendant to join the Housekeeping team at One&Only The Palm Resort in Dubai.

With the global growth of our brands, you will be an integral part of the Resort’s success, and your role goes beyond developing meaningful relationships with our guests and colleagues.

As a Laundry Attendant, you play a key role in ensuring all linen, uniforms, and guest laundry are cleaned, processed, and presented to the highest standards. You will maintain an organized and efficient laundry operation, ensure timely service while support daily operations and upholding our company’s core values.

Key Duties And Responsibilities

• Process and handle all laundry items, including linens, uniforms, and guest clothing, with care and efficiency.
• Sort, wash, dry, press, and fold items according to company standards and fabric requirements.
• Ensure all items are clean, well-presented, and delivered in a timely manner.
• Operate and maintain laundry equipment safely and efficiently.
• Monitor the quality of cleaned items and report any damage or irregularities.
• Always maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area.
• Replenish laundry supplies and ensure adequate stock levels.
• Follow all hygiene, sanitation, and safety procedures.
• Report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance issues to the supervisor.
• Ensure proper storage and handling of linens, uniforms, and guest laundry.
• Always maintain guest confidentiality and care when handling personal items.
• Adhere to company grooming standards and uniform requirements.
  
  

A suitable candidate should have 1–2 years of experience in a luxury 5-star hotel or resort. Knowledge of laundry operations, fabric care, and hygiene standards is essential. The candidate must be detail-oriented, a team player, and ensure all linen and garments are processed to a high standard. Good English communication skills are required; additional languages are an advantage.
