Lead Construction Engineer

Penspen is urgently looking to hire Lead Construction Engineer is to oversee construction activities for oil & gas projects. The ideal candidate will lead site execution, manage contractors, ensure HSE and quality compliance, monitor project progress, and deliver projects safely, on time, and within budget.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise construction activities for oil & gas projects.
• Ensure compliance with HSE, quality, and project standards.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, contractors, and site teams.
• Monitor construction progress, schedules, and budgets.
• Resolve technical and construction issues at site.
• Review and approve construction plans, methods, and work packages.
• Conduct site inspections and ensure adherence to project specifications.
• Prepare progress reports and communicate project status to stakeholders.
• Support project completion, testing, commissioning, and handover.

Qualifications and Experience Required

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
• Minimum 15 TO 18+ years of experience in Oil & Gas Construction, with at least 5 years in a lead role.
• Minimum 5+ years of offshore experience is mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of offshore process and utility systems.
• Familiarity with international standards
• PMC and EPC experience will be preferred
• Previous experience in the ADNOC projects in the similar role would be an added advantage
