Machine/Tractor Operator - Dairy Farm

Apt Resources is seeking a reliable and skilled Machine/Tractor Operator to join our client's Dairy Farm team. In this role, you will operate tractors and various farm machinery to support daily farm operations, helping to maintain productivity and efficiency in the dairy farm environment.

As a Machine/Tractor Operator, you will ensure the safe and effective use of equipment for tasks such as feeding, cleaning, irrigation, and transport, playing a vital role in maintaining farm operations.

Responsibilities

• Operate tractors and farm machinery safely and efficiently for various tasks including plowing, fertilizing, planting, harvesting, and transporting.
• Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on machinery to ensure optimal operation.
• Assist with feeding, cleaning, and other dairy farm activities as required.
• Inspect equipment for safety hazards and report any issues promptly.
• Maintain accurate records of machine usage, maintenance, and fuel consumption.
• Comply with all health, safety, and environmental policies on the farm.
• Collaborate with farm staff to achieve daily operational goals.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years' experience operating tractors and farm machinery, preferably in a dairy farm setting.
• Good knowledge of tractor operations, maintenance procedures, and safety protocols.
• Ability to perform routine maintenance and minor repairs.
• Physical fitness and ability to work in various outdoor conditions.
• Basic mechanical knowledge is advantageous.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
• Can Attend 1-day trial if required.
