Job Summary
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- To teach producing component drawings suitable for transfer onto a CAM system and produce a simple 3D surfaces.
- To teach transferring data generated in CAD to a CAM system for subsequent machining.
- To teach simulating the cutter paths on a CAM system to optimise the machining sequences.
- To teach transferring a generated tape file to a CNC machine and produce the component.
- To teach the design and operational characteristics of a PLC system.
- To teach writing programmes, PLC information and communication techniques.
- To teach transferring data generated in CAD to a CAM system for subsequent machining.
- To teach applying programmable logic programming techniques.
- To teach PICs and other programmable devices and alternative implementations and PLC simulators of programmable control.
- Excellent Teaching Skills
- Excellent Communication Skills
