Trade & Retail - Merchandiser (Building Materials)

Work Location: UAE, Dubai - with frequent travel across the UAE

Working Schedule: Monday to Friday with weekends off. Friday is a half working day.

Estimated Salary: AED 6-8K per month total cash lump sum + Company Car with fuel and parking card + Medical Insurance for self + Annual Return Flight for self to home country + Bonus (discretionary, performance based)

About the role:

Our client, who are an international manufacturer operating in the plumbing and building materials sector, are seeking to hire a proactive Merchandiser to manage in-store presence, product visibility, installer (small) relationships, generating leads to our wholesale partners, capture opportunities to grow volume and increase UAE sales across their MEP and plumbing solutions group.

The role focuses on driving product awareness, capturing intelligence to allow the business to adapt and take advantage of market opportunities. This supports our wholesale, retail, trade partners, whilst passing larger leads to the wider team to enhance overall Buildings sales performance

Experience Required:

• 2-4 years of experience in merchandising, preferably in the construction materials, plumbing, or sanitaryware industry.
• Familiarity with MEP, plumbing & heating systems is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of the UAE retail, trade and distribution landscape.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple store visits daily.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM reporting tools.
• Valid UAE driving license is mandatory.

Languages:

Good command of the different dialects and local languages from within India

Fluency in English, verbal and orally
