Kinetic is working with a leading Hospitality company who are hiring a Payroll Specialist to be based in Dubai.

Key aspects of the role include:

  • Manage the full payroll process for approximately 2,000 employees across UAE and Oman.
  • Handle payroll data collection, validation, processing, reconciliation, and final payment execution.
  • Utilize SAP SuccessFactors Payroll module for payroll processing, configuration support, troubleshooting, and system improvements.
  • Support payroll system implementation, workflow optimization, and digital transformation initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with UAE Labour Law requirements, including leave calculations, gratuity, deductions, and statutory requirements.
  • Prepare payroll reports, dashboards, KPIs, and management summaries using advanced Excel and reporting tools.
  • Perform payroll accounting activities, including GL reconciliation, payroll accruals, and audit preparation.
  • Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to resolve payroll-related issues and improve payroll accuracy and efficiency.
  • Support multi-country payroll activities and ensure consistent payroll practices across locations.


To be successful you will need to meet the following:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
  • At least 5–8 years of payroll operations/accounting experience, managing payroll for large employee populations. (500+)
  • Minimum 2 years’ hands-on experience with SAP SuccessFactors Payroll (implementation, configuration, troubleshooting, or system support experience is mandatory).
  • Strong knowledge of UAE Labour Law and payroll compliance requirements.
  • Solid payroll accounting knowledge, including reconciliations and financial reporting.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, Power Query, complex formulas, and data analysis.
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills with experience creating payroll dashboards and insights.
  • Experience in hospitality, retail, FMCG, or other large workforce environments is preferred.
  • Multi-country payroll experience within UAE/GCC is an advantage.
  • Business English proficiency required; Arabic language skills are an advantage.
  • Valid UAE driving license and own vehicle preferred.
  • Preference given to candidates who can start immediately or within 30 days.
