- Experience Required: Minimum 3+ years post qualification experience
- Practice Model: Outpatient podiatry clinics with multidisciplinary diabetic foot, wound care, and rehabilitation support
The successful candidate will provide comprehensive assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and preventive care for patients presenting with foot, ankle, and lower limb disorders while utilizing evidence-based clinical practices and modern treatment techniques.
Qualifications & Professional Recognition

- Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM)
- Bachelor or Master's Degree in Podiatry from a recognized institution
- UK HCPC Registered Podiatrist or equivalent
- Australian, European, American, Canadian, or Arab recognized qualifications
- Other internationally recognized qualifications meeting DHA / DOH / MOH eligibility requirements
Candidates must meet eligibility requirements for DHA / DOH / MOH licensing. Licensing guidance and support will be provided.
Key Responsibilities – Podiatry
- Assess, diagnose, and manage a wide range of foot, ankle, and lower limb disorders affecting pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients.
- Perform comprehensive biomechanical assessments and gait analysis to identify functional abnormalities and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Diagnose and treat conditions including plantar fasciitis, heel pain, diabetic foot complications, nail disorders, corns, calluses, bunions, flat feet, sports injuries, and musculoskeletal conditions.
- Provide preventive diabetic foot care, ulcer risk assessment, wound management, and patient education to reduce complications and amputations.
- Perform routine podiatric procedures including nail surgery, debridement, callus management, and conservative treatment of foot disorders within the scope of practice.
- Prescribe and recommend custom orthotics, footwear modifications, offloading devices, and rehabilitation strategies to improve mobility and function.
- Collaborate with orthopedic surgeons, endocrinologists, vascular surgeons, wound care specialists, physiotherapists, and rehabilitation teams for comprehensive patient management.
- Educate patients regarding foot hygiene, injury prevention, diabetic foot care, footwear selection, and lifestyle modifications to promote long-term foot health.
- Interpret diagnostic imaging and laboratory investigations relevant to podiatric practice and coordinate additional specialist referrals when clinically indicated.
- Maintain accurate electronic medical records and comprehensive clinical documentation in accordance with regulatory and organizational standards.
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, quality improvement initiatives, patient safety programs, and continuing professional development activities.
- Ensure compliance with UAE healthcare regulations, ethical professional standards, infection control protocols, and hospital policies.
