Job Brief:
Our client is seeking an experienced Procurement Executive to manage end-to-end procurement of general and indirect materials and services required by multiple internal departments, including Administration, HR, Logistics, Finance, IT, Facilities, and other support functions.
The role involves sourcing suppliers, negotiating commercial terms, issuing purchase orders, and ensuring timely delivery while maintaining cost efficiency, quality, and compliance with company procurement policies.
This Procurement Executive Job in Ras Al Khaimah supports a large industrial manufacturing setup and requires strong vendor management skills, SAP proficiency, and the ability to coordinate procurement needs across diverse business units.
Job Responsibilities:
- Manage indirect procurement for general materials, consumables, and services across multiple departments.
- Process purchase requisitions and convert them into purchase orders within agreed timelines.
- Source new suppliers and maintain strong relationships with existing vendors.
- Obtain quotations, compare prices, negotiate terms, and recommend suitable suppliers.
- Coordinate procurement needs for Administration, HR, Logistics, Finance, IT, Facilities, and other support functions.
- Purchase office supplies, furniture, stationery, IT equipment, PPE, uniforms, housekeeping materials, pantry items, vehicle-related items, maintenance supplies, and other general requirements.
- Monitor supplier performance based on quality, delivery, pricing, and service levels.
- Ensure timely delivery of materials and services and follow up on pending orders.
- Maintain procurement records, supplier databases, contracts, quotations, and purchase documentation.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand procurement needs and ensure timely fulfilment.
- Support contract negotiations and supplier evaluations.
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies, budget guidelines, and approval processes.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities through strategic sourcing and supplier negotiations.
- Resolve supplier issues related to quality, delivery delays, or invoice discrepancies.
- Generate procurement reports, spend analysis, and purchasing KPIs for management.
- Coordinate with Finance for invoice verification and payment processing.
- Maintain inventory levels for commonly used office and operational supplies.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Commerce, or a related field.
- Professional procurement certifications (CIPS or equivalent) are an advantage.
- 3–6 years of procurement experience in manufacturing, industrial, or FMCG environments.
- Mandatory experience in indirect/general procurement.
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Knowledge of procurement principles, sourcing strategies, and contract management.
- Hands-on experience with SAP is a must.
- Strong Microsoft Excel and reporting skills.
- Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to prioritize multiple procurement requests in a fast-paced environment.
- High level of integrity, attention to detail, and strong organizational skills.
- Driving license is an advantage.
- Familiarity with suppliers and local procurement practices.
- Immediate joiners or candidates with short notice periods are preferred.
