Job Description
currently seeking a skilled and compassionate Respiratory Therapist specializing in Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT) to join our client team. As a Respiratory Therapist HBOT, you will play a crucial role in providing therapeutic care to patients undergoing HBOT, helping to improve their respiratory function and overall well-being. In this role, you will be responsible for assessing patients, conducting treatments, monitoring vitals, and maintaining accurate records. Your expertise and dedication will contribute to the success of our HBOT program and ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities
Evaluate patients and conduct comprehensive assessments to determine suitability for HBOT Safely administer hyperbaric oxygen therapy to patients, following established protocols Monitor patients' vitals and response to treatment throughout therapy sessions Assess and manage any potential side effects or complications during HBOT Maintain accurate and detailed medical records of patients' treatments and progress Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care for patients Ensure proper maintenance and cleanliness of the hyperbaric chamber and related equipment Stay updated on the latest advancements and research in the field of HBOT through continuous learning and professional development
Requirements
Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program Valid license or certification as a Respiratory Therapist Additional certification in Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT) is required Prior experience in delivering HBOT treatments is highly preferred Strong knowledge of respiratory therapy principles, practices, and treatment techniques Excellent understanding of hyperbaric chamber operations and safety protocols Ability to accurately assess patients and adjust treatment parameters as necessary Strong attention to detail and excellent record-keeping skills Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with patients and healthcare professionals Ability to remain calm and focused in high-pressure situations
