We are looking for an experienced Sushi Chef to join our team. The ideal candidate has strong expertise in preparing sushi, sashimi, nigiri, and specialty rolls while maintaining the highest standards of food quality, presentation, hygiene, and food safety.
Responsibilities
- Prepare sushi, sashimi, nigiri, maki, and specialty rolls.
- Ensure freshness and quality of ingredients.
- Maintain food safety and hygiene standards.
- Manage inventory and minimize food waste.
- Prepare ingredients and sauces according to recipes.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations.
- Deliver high-quality food presentation and consistency.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Sushi Chef.
- Strong knife skills and fish preparation experience.
- Knowledge of Japanese cuisine and sushi preparation techniques.
- Understanding of food safety and sanitation standards.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Team-oriented with good communication skills.
