Job Responsibility

1- Design, configure, implement, and troubleshoot network infrastructure, including firewalls, switches, and monitoring systems.

2- Check/Update configuration of all DMZ switches, routers, firewalls as per documented policy

3- Review log for all DMZ firewalls, routers, switches, and Intrusion Protection System.

4- Manage, monitor, and maintain FortiGate, Juniper, and Sophos firewalls – including security policies, VPNs, NAT, and intrusion prevention.

5- Configure and support Cisco and Hirschmann industrial switches, ensuring optimal performance and uptime.

6- Oversee and maintain Network Monitoring Stations using tools like WhatsUp Gold, with regular health checks and performance reporting.

7- Conduct risk assessments, patch management, and ensure compliance with security standards and best practices.

8- Respond to network incidents and service interruptions, providing root cause analysis and corrective actions.

9- Collaborate with IT/security teams for firewall policy management, segmentation, and access control

10- Document configurations, network diagrams, and change control procedures.

Job Qualifications & Experience

1- Bachelor's degree in science (Information security and network)

2- Entry-level professional in the IT Security domain

Job Skills & Competencies

1- Has certification in CCNAv7 introduction to network, Switching, Routing, and Wireless Essentials from Cisco.

2- Has certification in AI for cybersecurity from Cybernet.

3- Has experience for IT Security and Risk Management, Security Operation, Risk Management & Compliance, Security Monitoring

4- Has expertise in using SIEM tools (such as Kaspersky AV, Microsoft Defender EDR, Forcepoint DLP and Proxy, Akamai DNS and QRadar) for continuous monitoring and analysis of security events in organization.
