Job Description
Wood is currently recruiting for an experienced Vendor Coordinator as part of our Engineering team within our Oil, Gas & New Energies business based in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.
Due to the nature of the projects and client expectation, the position will be initially office based then move to onshore site in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.
The Role
The EPCM Vendor Coordinator (Site) is responsible for coordinating and managing vendor activitiesat the project site to ensure timely delivery, installation, inspection, testing, commissioning, and close-out of vendor-supplied equipment and materials. The role serves as the primaryinterface between the EPCM team, contractors, vendors, and the client to ensure compliance with project specifications, quality standards, safety requirements, and project schedules.

- Coordinate all vendor site activities, includingequipment delivery, installation, supervision, testing, commissioning, and handover.
- Act as the primary point of contact between vendors, construction teams, engineering, QA/QC, procurement, and the client.
- Review vendor schedules and ensure alignment with the overall project construction and commissioning schedule.
- Monitor vendor mobilization, manpower, tools, andequipment readiness.
- Ensure vendors comply with project HSE requirements, site regulations, and permit-to-workprocedures.
- Coordinate inspection and testing activities withQA/QC and client representatives.
- Track vendor progress and identify potential delays or risks, recommending corrective actions where necessary.
- Facilitate technical discussions between vendors and engineering teams to resolve site issues.
- Verify vendor completion of punch list items and support mechanical completion and commissioningactivities.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly vendorcoordination reports.
- Attend construction, commissioning, and progress meetings.
- Ensure vendor documentation, including method statements, inspection reports, test records, commissioning reports, and as-builtdocumentation, is complete and submitted ontime.
- Support contract administration by verifyingvendor attendance, work completion, and variationrequests.
- Coordinate warranty support and vendor close-out activities.

Expected
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Civil, or related Engineering discipline.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in EPC/EPCM projects, preferably in oil & gas, petrochemical, mining, power, or infrastructure projects.
- Experience coordinating multiple equipment vendors during construction and commissioning.
- Familiarity with procurement, construction, and commissioning processes.
