Job Overview
As a 3D Designer, you will be responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and visualizing creative solutions for event stages, exhibition booths, and event environments. You will work closely with the production, marketing, and client servicing teams to ensure designs are not only visually stunning but also practical, functional and aligned with client objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Education & Experience:
As a 3D Designer, you will be responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and visualizing creative solutions for event stages, exhibition booths, and event environments. You will work closely with the production, marketing, and client servicing teams to ensure designs are not only visually stunning but also practical, functional and aligned with client objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Design & Visualization:
- Create 3D models, renders, and walkthroughs of stages, exhibition booths, and event environments.
- Develop innovative designs that align with the brand and objectives of each event.
- Translate client briefs into compelling 3D visualizations and designs.
- Concept Development:
- Collaborate with clients, project managers, and internal teams to brainstorm and refine design concepts.
- Stay updated on the latest design trends, materials, and technologies to bring fresh ideas to projects.
- Technical Expertise:
- Prepare detailed technical drawings and specifications for production teams.
- Ensure designs are practical and feasible within budget and logistical constraints.
- Client Interaction:
- Present design concepts and revisions to clients, incorporating their feedback effectively.
- Work within deadlines to deliver exceptional results for proposals and live events.
- Project Coordination:
- Liaise with fabricators, set builders, and other stakeholders to ensure flawless execution of designs.
- Attend site visits and oversee installation when necessary to ensure design integrity.
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in 3D Design, Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a 3D Designer, preferably in the events or exhibitions industry.
- Proficiency in 3D design software such as 3ds Max, SketchUp, AutoCAD, and Cinema 4D.
- Advanced knowledge of rendering software like V-Ray, Corona, or Lumion.
- Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) for presentation purposes.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in stage design, event environments, and exhibition booths.
- Knowledge of materials, fabrication techniques, and event production processes.
- Ability to balance creativity with practicality and budget considerations.
- Excellent spatial awareness, attention to detail, and ability to visualize concepts in 3D.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Team player with a proactive and solution-oriented approach.
