Job Purpose:

Responsible for analyzing, designing, developing, and testing SAP reports, enhancements, interfaces, forms, workflows and conversion programs. Perform relevant SAP configuration and testing. Design and develop test plans for executing unit, integration, system, and performance tests.

They lead and mentor a team of ABAP developers, analyze business requirements, design technical solutions and optimize performance.

Main tasks and responsibilities (the position exist to perform the below tasks and essential activities)

• Develop, modify and optimized complex ABAP programs, interfaces, reports, and enhancements based on functional specification.
• Understand and have basic knowledge in Custom SAP UI5/Fiori end to end application on SAP BTP (Cloud Foundry).
• Knowledge on UI5 components such as List, Table, Expandable, and Smart Table, etc.
• Work closely with SAP functional consultants to translate business requirements into technical specifications and develop appropriate technical solutions.
• Participate in system upgrades, migrations, and integration projects, ensuring compatibility and adherence to best practices.
• Design and develop interfaces to integrate SAP with other system applications ensuring seamless data flow and communications.
• Design and develop ABAP Solutions for integrating SAP System with external system enduring seamless data flow and efficient communication.
• Develop SAP CAP Development and manage custom portal development.
• Prepare technical specifications and participate on solution architectures and estimations.
• Extend and customize standard SAP Fiori apps.
• Design and develop applications consistent with the UI strategy.
• Building, configuring, branding a Site, and managing applications.
• Identify and resolve technical issues, defects and bugs through effective debugging and problem-solving technique.
• Portal Applications and Standards, Content Management Systems, AJAX and XML technologies.
• Conduct unit testing, integration testing and performance testing to validate the functionality of develop software components.
• Lead the team of ABAP and Cloud Developers, providing guidance, directions, and mentorship to ensure successful project delivery and team growth.
• Serve as a subject matter expert in ABAP Development, offering technical guidance and resolving technical issues.
• Allocate tasks, set priorities, and monitor progress to achieve project milestones and objectives.
• Monitor ABAP related project activities, ensuring adherence to project schedules and quality standards.
• Participate in code reviews, ensuring best practices, efficiency, and maintainability of codebase.
  
  

Education Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field

Language Requirements

English – Fluent (Required) | Arabic – Fluent (Beneficial)

Experience

Knowledge and Skills

10+ Years of total experience in SAP

7 - 8 Years of total experience in SAP

Minimum 2 Years In GCC Region (preferred)

• Prior experience in HTML, XML, JavaScript, SQL, Java or C#, SOAP-based web services
• Extensive experience with Agile or iterative development methodologies
• Experience with integration of cloud computing with on-premises solutions
• Strong Knowledge of SAP RICEFW Developments
• Strong knowledge on Node.js, Workflow and Hana Calculation views.
• Working experience in SAP Business Application studio and SAP Web IDE.
• Knowledge in configuring destinations and Maintaining GIT Repositories.
• Strong debugging knowledge on Node, XSOData services and Custom Fiori Applications.
• Must be able to extend and customize standard Fiori apps.
