At LXR Hotels & Resorts, comfort is at the core of every guest experience. Behind the scenes, our Engineering team ensures that every space is maintained to the highest standards. As an AC & Refrigeration Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing air conditioning and refrigeration systems, ensuring that our guests enjoy a seamless and comfortable stay.
What will I be doing?
As AC & Refrigeration Technician, you will:
- Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance of all air conditioning, refrigeration, and ventilation systems.
- Inspect, diagnose, and repair equipment such as chillers, split units, exhaust systems, and cold rooms.
- Ensure the proper functioning of guest room and public area climate control systems.
- Monitor and record system performance, identifying and resolving issues proactively.
- Maintain an inventory of spare parts and materials required for repairs.
- Support energy-saving initiatives by maintaining equipment efficiency.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests to minimize guest inconvenience.
- Adhere to all safety standards and ensure compliance with hotel and local regulations.
- Assist the wider Engineering team with technical support as required.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned to ensure smooth hotel operations.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous experience as an AC & Refrigeration Technician, preferably within luxury hospitality.
- Technical knowledge of HVAC, refrigeration systems, and relevant safety standards.
- Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and manuals.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Flexibility to work in shifts and respond to emergencies.
- A positive attitude and team-player mindset.
