Accounting & Finance Lead Opportunity – Key Responsibilities
- Prepare timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports in alignment with GAAP/IFRS standards.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes to support data-driven decision making.
- Build and maintain financial models for scenario planning, growth projections, and capital allocation.
- Manage cash flow forecasting, working capital optimization, and banking relationships.
- Implement and enhance internal controls, accounting processes, and financial policies to ensure compliance and operational excellence.
- Coordinate external audits, tax filings, and regulatory reporting in cooperation with external advisors and auditors.
- Support cross-functional teams on financial matters, including pricing, client contracts, vendor negotiations, and strategic initiatives.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA, CMA, or equivalent certification preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in accounting and finance roles, with demonstrated progression in responsibility.
- Strong understanding of GAAP, IFRS, and regulatory requirements relevant to fintech or financial services operations.
- Advanced skills in Excel, financial modeling, and experience working with accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar platforms.
- Proven ability to manage month-end close processes, budgeting, and cross-functional collaboration in a dynamic environment.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills for conveying financial information to diverse audiences.
- Experience implementing process improvements and leveraging automation tools is a strong plus.
- Comfort working in fast-paced, growth-oriented, and technology-driven environments.
