We’re entering an exciting phase of global expansion and rapid scaling, and we're seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Accounting Manager in Abu Dhabi to help us manage accounting operations and reporting.
Role Overview:
As the Accounting Manager, you will work in a growing international Finance and Accounting team and will have an opportunity to make an immediate impact in a fast-scaling SaaS startup. You will manage Accounts Payable, Treasury and General Ledger. You will also support month-end close and external accountants and tax advisors tasks. It is a hands-on role requiring accounting experience and knowledge and excellent attention to detail. Role And Responsibilities
- Serve as the point of contact for all finance related matters in our Abu Dhabi as well as KSA subsidiaries
- Support local and global teams with finance related inquiries and accounting duties as assigned
- Manage Accounts Payable: manage vendor records and vendor payments Manage Expense Reports: process employee expense reports
- Manage Payroll process: coordinate and submit payroll for processing to the payroll provider.
- Manage accounting in NetSuite, including EOM close tasks Work with Kounted (accounting partner) and tax advisors to prepare the entity for income tax reporting and all the local filing requirements
- Participate/drive internal projects and initiatives to improve effectiveness and efficiency of accounting operations internationally.
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or FinanceMS in Accounting or Finance + CA is preferred (not required)
- 5+ years of experience in accounting (AP, AR, General Ledger, reconciliations)
- Solid knowledge of debits and credits is a must!
- Proficient in accounting software (e.g., ERP systems, NetSuite is a strong plus)
- Proficiency in Microsoft ExcelExperience working in international organizations with the headquarters in USA
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as a part of a team
- Ability to be flexible with schedule to accommodate overlapping hours with the global teams
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Requires residency in Abu Dhabi
