The Sheikh Zayed Private Academy for Boys (SZPAB) is seeking an experienced Accounts Manager to handle all financial operations, including managing cash transactions, maintaining accurate records, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and school policies. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to lead the accounts team effectively.

Duties And Responsibilities

• Receivables Management and Reporting, including tuition fees.
• Accurate reporting of information to relevant stakeholders.
• Payables Management and Reporting, paying suppliers in line with school policy.
• Cost Management, including reporting deficits and surpluses to the management.
• Ensure timely preparation and submission of VAT file to AAH/FTA.
• Reconciliation, maintaining accurate records of all accounts to ensure compliance with internal and external audit processes.
• Reviewing, reconciling, preparing documentation and disbursing the monthly personnel payroll.
• Preparation of the annual school budget in collaboration with the Principal.
• Management Information System. Preparing monthly MIS report and ensuring timely submission to the AAEI, AAH and the Principal.
• Preparation of bank reconciliation reports.
• Preparation and submission of all documents required by auditors.
• Line management of the Assistant Accountants and Cashier.
• Ensure NAV is used effectively to support the school's financial management processes. Initiate effort and energy beyond the typical workday, where the tasks require additional commitment.
• Attend staff meetings and serve on committees as required.
  
  

Position Requirements: (please only apply if you meet the below criteria)

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant field
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar position (candidates with previous experience within a school setting will be prioritized)
• Fluent in written and spoken English and Arabic
