Job Brief:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Payable Executive to join a leading packaging company in Dubai. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the company’s payables, ensuring timely payments, accurate record-keeping, and maintaining positive relationships with vendors. This role is vital in supporting the finance team and maintaining financial discipline.

Job Responsibilities:

• Process vendor invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and approvals.
• Verify purchase orders, delivery notes, and other supporting documents before processing payments.
• Reconcile accounts payable transactions and resolve invoice discrepancies or queries.
• Prepare and schedule timely payments through cheques, bank transfers, and online platforms.
• Maintain vendor records and ensure accurate documentation of transactions.
• Assist in month-end closing by providing reports and necessary documentation.
• Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up-to-date and flag any overdue balances.
• Coordinate with the procurement and inventory departments to validate purchase entries.
• Prepare accounts payable aging reports and assist with internal and external audits.
• Maintain confidentiality of financial data and uphold the integrity of accounting processes.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 2–3 years of proven experience in an accounts payable role.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and payables workflow.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (experience with ERP systems preferred).
• Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and time management skills.
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
