Applications & Infrastructure Advisor - Learning Systems (Temp Contract, 12 months)

Job Purpose

Execute the Emirates Group digital learning applications and infrastructure strategy by supporting the architecture that enables our employees access on-demand learning solutions.

Job Outline

• Assist in the design and maintenance of digital platforms and learning applications across the Emirates Group.
• Ensure all applications and platform solutions create an accessible, seamless and holistic user experience.
• Work closely with the Digital Experience Production Team to facilitate transition of learning solutions to platforms and applications.
• Support the alignment of applications and digital platform activities across the broader business.
• Provide and maintain digital platform solutions that are relevant and aligned to business needs.
• Ensure learning experiences are accessible and user-friendly while creating a consistent employee experience within digital learning platforms.
• Assist in the ideation, execution and evaluation of innovation digital learning experiences through POCs, pilots, vendor partnerships and independent research/testing.
• Seek opportunities for professional development in the field to ensure you are continually growing your skills.
• Work cross functionally across the Learning & Talent portfolio to deliver mission-driven solutions to the business.
  
  

Experience

Qualifications & Experience

• Human Resources/Training : 5+ Years
• Progressive experience in a system administrator role with experience supporting large scale applications & administrating digital platforms preferably in the digital learning space.

Degree or Honours (12+3 or equivalent) :

Knowledge/skills

• Able to use initiative and act in a proactive manner with a positive can-do attitude to deliver effective results
• Self-motivated with a high level of awareness, a self-reflector who proactively and constantly seeks growth opportunities
• A people person who works well independently and as part of a broader team
• Open and flexible in your approach, able to adapt quickly and effectively to changing department needs

• Digitally literate and an advocate for the digital transformation of departmental processes
• A critical thinker who constantly questions the status quo and analyses data to create meaningful conclusions which will inform the department
• Future-focused with a desire to seek out and recommend opportunities for improvement, efficiencies and innovation in your organisational eco-system
• Preferable skills
• Working knowledge of HTML/CSS/Javascript
• Experience in developing reports/dashboards using MS Excel / Power BI
• Experience with MS Power Platforms (PowerApps, Power Automate)
