About the Job:

An opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Manager to join the Sports and Leisure team in Jumeirah Al Naseem. The main duties and responsibilities of this role:



  • Manage and supervise the Sports & Leisure team, ensuring smooth daily operations, proper lifeguard coverage, and efficient scheduling, including breaks and rotations.
  • Conduct guest satisfaction checks, handle complaints, and ensure high service standards across beach and pool areas.
  • Maintain training records, ensure all team members complete monthly training, and conduct audits per safety guidelines.
  • Enforce health and safety policies, respond to emergencies, oversee proper use of equipment, and ensure all staff understand emergency procedures.
  • Ensure all areas are clean, safe, and ready for guests; report damaged or unsafe equipment and maintain operational readiness.
  • Complete and submit reports, checklists, and safety inspections accurately and on time; maintain organized files and documentation.




About You:

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:



  • Minimum 1 year in a leadership role within lifeguard operations and recreation.
  • Experience working with multi-cultural teams.
  • Proficient in MS Office and skilled in special facilities lifeguarding.
  • Excellent English communication skills; additional languages are a plus.
