Platform Overview:

Group Finance is responsible for the Business Planning, Governance & Reporting of all financial activities across Mubadala in addition specialist teams manage Treasury, Investor Relations and Performance Management, all transactional finance is outsourced to Mubadala BMS.

We ensure that all financial information and activity in Mubadala is accurate and compliant with legislation and industry standards.

What you will do:

  • Support the Corporate & Financial Reporting team with technical financial reporting aspects related to certain investments which are being managed by Corporate Units.
  • Undertake technical accounting aspects related to corporate transactions and investments.
  • To manage, report on and continuously monitor the financial performance of the various Corporate Units with particular focus on budget management.
  • To partner with Corporate Units and provide required financial insight and guidance in relevant finance areas to the respective management teams.
  • To support Corporate Units in delivering timely & quality business plan & budget.

What will you bring:

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration.
  • Fully qualified with an internationally recognised accounting designation (e.g. ACA, ACCA, CA).
  • A minimum of 5 years' post-qualification experience in audit and accounting, preferably within a Big Four firm, with a progressive track record in senior roles across finance, audit, and risk functions.
  • Demonstrated experience managing complex accounting structures and transactions, with a strong understanding of financial reporting and compliance.
  • Proven ability to develop and deliver high-quality reports and presentations tailored for senior management, boards, and audit committees.
  • Strong technical knowledge of accounting standards and financial principles, coupled with the ability to analyse, advise, and influence key stakeholders effectively.
  • Familiarity with Oracle Fusion and Oracle EPM platforms is an advantage.

Key Attributes:

  • In-depth knowledge of IFRS and IAS disclosure requirements.
  • Up-to-date understanding of financial legislation, regulatory reporting frameworks, and compliance procedures.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint for financial modelling and presentations.
  • Working knowledge of Oracle ERP and EPM consolidation systems is preferred.
  • Strong relationship management and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across diverse teams.
  • Confident in constructively challenging assumptions and decisions when necessary.
  • Highly organised, methodical, and detail-oriented, with strong time management capabilities.
  • Demonstrates a high level of personal and professional integrity.
