What You'll Be Doing
The Demand Planner is responsible for defining and maintaining accurate demand plans to support channel-specific planning objectives. This includes forecasting sales, managing markdown and liquidation plans, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure operational alignment and effective decision-making.

What You'll Be Doing
The Demand Planner is responsible for defining and maintaining accurate demand plans to support channel-specific planning objectives. This includes forecasting sales, managing markdown and liquidation plans, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure operational alignment and effective decision-making.
- Ownership of rolling sales forecasts, incorporating historical data, promotions, product information, new product forecasts from category managers, and sell-out forecasts from key accounts.
- Manage all parameters of forecast accuracy inclusive of cleansing of data
- Build unconstrained demand plans at the channel, brand, and country levels, integrating new and permanent product sales forecasts to ensure alignment with actual market dynamics. Ensure constant visibility of the latest status to senior stakeholders with advanced reporting on critical bottlenecks and potential risks on Sales Forecasts
- Seek new approaches including the deployment of improved tools and techniques
- Work closely with the Supply Planning Manager to ensure optimum stock model and supply planning adherence to demand plan
- Develop and execute markdown and liquidation plans to optimize inventory levels and reduce excess stock.
- Work closely with category managers, key accounts, and store networks to align forecasts with sales strategies.
- For B2B demand planners: Develop collaborative planning processes with key B2B accounts, including external S&OP inputs.
- Prepare inputs for the Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process to support strategic business planning.
- Monitor and report planning KPIs, with a particular focus on forecast accuracy, to identify and address discrepancies.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in demand planning or related fields, preferably within the retail, beauty, or FMCG industries.
- Hands-on expertise in demand forecasting tools, preferably Blue Yonder, or equivalent planning systems.
- Proven ability to manage and analyze large datasets to generate accurate forecasts.
- Strong technical & analytical skills.
