Job Description

The role of an audiovisual technician encompasses responsibilities such as transporting equipment and setting up cameras, lighting, and video devices. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in handling, assembling, operating, and repairing multimedia equipment. This role requires an individual who possesses skill, creativity, and adaptability, enabling them to navigate various situations with meticulous attention to detail while also collaborating effectively and communicating proficiently within a team.

Responsibilities

• Transporting, setting up, and installing media equipment and supporting audiovisual tools, including equipment racks, speakers, monitors, and cameras
• Setting up and performing electrical wiring, programming, and basic construction according to layout diagrams and schedules.
• Conducting tests on audio, videos, and signals, promptly resolving any encountered issues
• Managing equipment malfunctions to ensure seamless event execution
• Safely dismantling equipment, wiring, and support tools
• Maintaining an organized inventory of equipment, wiring, and accessories
• Undertaking cleaning, maintenance, and repair tasks for audiovisual equipment
• Compiling expense reports for management
  
  

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years in a similar role
• IT or Engineering background preferred
• Experience in audio mixer software, light control decks, cabling
• Full English proficiency is required
• Additional spoken languages are a plus
• In-depth working knowledge of camera, LED, Audio, and lighting techniques
• Proficiency in computer usage and adept troubleshooting skills
• Creativity, attention to detail, and flexibility
• Strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills
• Capability to endure prolonged periods of sitting or standing
• Good hearing and eyesight
