Job Brief:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Audit Associate to join our client's dynamic team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have 2–4 years of experience in auditing, possess strong analytical skills, and demonstrate a solid understanding of accounting standards and audit procedures. The Audit Associate will support the execution of audits, preparation of reports, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, helping our clients achieve accurate financial reporting and enhanced internal controls.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist in planning and executing audit engagements in accordance with applicable standards and client requirements.
- Conduct detailed testing of financial statements, internal controls, and operational processes.
- Collect, analyze, and evaluate financial data to identify discrepancies, risks, and areas for improvement.
- Prepare audit documentation, working papers, and reports to support findings and recommendations.
- Coordinate with clients to gather necessary documentation and resolve audit-related queries.
- Ensure compliance with region's regulations, International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), and other relevant guidelines.
- Assist in identifying opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies during audits.
- Support senior team members in drafting financial statements and management reports.
- Stay updated on changes in auditing standards, financial regulations, and industry best practices.
- Contribute to a team-oriented environment by collaborating effectively with colleagues and clients.
Job Requirements:
- 2–4 years of experience as an auditor / audit associate within audit / accounting firms
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with ERP systems is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, majoring in Accounting
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel and Word are essential)
- Presentable and personable; proven ability to work effectively within a team
- Commitment to maintaining the highest professional standards and ethical conduct
- Certifications: ACCA, CPA, IFRS, etc.
