An amazing opportunity has opened up for a talented Bartender to join the team in our Al Hanah Bar. The successful applicant will have a passion for their work and a personality that will make our guests feel both welcomed and cared for. Guests will look to you to guide them through their choice of beverage based on their taste and preference.

What are we looking for?

• A passion for bartending.
• Ability to craft unique, visually stunning, and flavourful drinks that enhance guest experiences.
• Proven experience in a luxury or high-end hospitality environment, preferably with a focus on molecular mixology or creative bartending.
• Ability to engage with guests, create personalized experiences, and provide outstanding service.
• In-depth understanding of spirits, liquors, wines, and how to pair them with molecular techniques.
• Ability to lead and inspire others.
• Efficiency and punctuality.
• Bartending certifications, mixology courses, or additional training in molecular gastronomy are advantageous.

What will you do?

• Interact with clients and understand their needs.
• Fulfil guest orders in an effective and organised manner.
• Work with Pool Bar team to keep excellent service standards.
• Be prepared to assist other Shangri-La colleagues/departments in a thoughtful manner.
• Assist guests and colleagues in choosing the perfect drink option for each customer.
• Maintain high levels of cleanliness/orderliness at the bar and surrounding areas.
• Empathetically listen to client queries/complaints and work with colleagues/Service Manager to find solutions.

The hotel comprises 213 luxurious guestrooms and suites and 6 four-bedroom villas with private pools, all furnished to the highest standards in a modern Arabic style.
