BIM Engineer (Plumbing)

To develop, coordinate, and manage detailed 3D BIM models for plumbing and drainage systems, ensuring design accuracy, compliance with project specifications, and integration with other MEP and structural disciplines in accordance with UAE standards and company BIM protocols.

• Develop and update detailed 3D BIM models for plumbing and drainage systems using Revit MEP and other BIM software.

• Coordinate plumbing models with mechanical, electrical, structural, and architectural disciplines to identify and resolve clashes.

• Prepare and extract shop drawings, schedules, and BOQs from the BIM model as per project requirements.

• Ensure compliance with local authority regulations (e.g., Dubai Municipality, ADDC, DEWA) and international plumbing codes.

• Maintain and implement company BIM standards, workflows, and best practices.

• Support design and construction teams by providing technical input and resolving on-site BIM-related issues.

• Participate in BIM coordination meetings and contribute to design reviews and clash detection sessions.

• Assist in preparing as-built models and documentation upon project completion.

• Ensure proper documentation and version control of models, drawings, and deliverables

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in plumbing BIM modeling within the MEP industry (preferably in the UAE or GCC).

• Strong proficiency in Autodesk Revit MEP, Navisworks, and related BIM coordination tools.

• Sound knowledge of UAE plumbing codes and regulations.

• Understanding of MEP design principles and project workflows.

• Excellent communication and coordination skills with multidisciplinary teams.
