Job Summary:

The Trainee Business Associate will be an integral part of the City Operations team, based in Dubai, focusing on driving client engagement and enhancing sales performance. This role involves reaching out to a target number of clients daily within assigned sectors, articulating offerings, and understanding their specific requirements. The associate will identify new product opportunities based on client feedback, develop prospecting lists, and actively track sales conversions to improve the sales process.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Reach out to a target number of clients daily within assigned sectors.
  • Articulate offerings to clients and understand their specific requirements.
  • Identify new product opportunities based on client feedback.
  • Develop prospecting lists using industry insights and online resources.
  • Actively track sales conversions to enhance the sales process.
  • Conduct cold calls and follow-ups to nurture leads and assist in conversions.
  • Establish short-term relationships with prospects to increase the likelihood of securing meetings.
  • Report any market trends or concerns to senior management.
  • Conduct market studies for new zones based on business potential and other relevant criteria.


Requirements:

Experience Required: 6 months to 3+ years in Supply Chain, Business Development, or Sales

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or Postgraduate degree in Sales and Marketing

Skills Required:

  • English and local language proficiency.
  • Positive and professional demeanor - Go getter attitude essential.


Sales Skills:

  • Strong persuasive skills using information at hand and logical arguments.

  • Strong network in logistics/related industry preferred.
  • Inquisitiveness to understand the problem/assignment and obtain necessary learning before setting on to work.
  • Highly performance driven and smart.


Compensation:

  • Fixed salary + Commission, based on sales targets.
