The Sales team operates at the face of our business introducing clients to our trusted strategic intelligence. The role:

This is an opportunity to join one of the highest-performing teams in the business and kick-start your career with unparalleled training and development. As a Business Development Executive, you’ll learn to confidently pitch our trusted intelligence products to senior executives at large multinational FMCG organizations. With a focus on the diverse and expansive MEA & APAC region, you’ll contribute to the team’s success by driving growth and building strong relationships in one of the world’s most dynamic markets.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Proactively connecting with C-Level Executives and key decision-makers to establish new accounts and uncover growth opportunities.
  • Delivering compelling online product demonstrations that showcase value and drive interest.
  • Generating high-quality leads through strategic sourcing and business development initiatives.
  • Consistently surpassing sales targets with a results-driven approach.
  • Cultivating long-term client relationships and crafting tailored account plans to ensure sustained success.
  • Maintaining a sharp focus on achieving KPIs to drive performance and sales excellence.

What we look for:

  • A minimum of 1-3 years’ experience in a telephone based B2B role and proven record of closing multi-year deals.
  • Go-getters: Candidates need to be ambitious, relentless, and committed to succeed in a KPI focused sales environment.
  • Self-assured: They need to be confident and articulate. They should be able to respond intelligently to clients’ requests and ask them follow up questions. Lead with insight and provide intelligence as a consultative partner.
  • Open to learning: Candidates need to have active listening skills. They need to be able to digest complex business information and translate them into creative solutions to influence their sales conversations.
  • Driven and persistent: They need to have a hunter mindset to explore new business opportunities and make connections while not giving up when facing rejections.
  • Passionate for data and analytics industry. Strong desire to understand GlobalData products and the potential value they could bring to clients.
  • Ability to sell sophisticated technology enabled solutions.
  • Solid academic background.
