Location:
This is a hybrid role based in Dubai, UAE, offering flexibility of working part on on-site (minimum 2 days a week) in the office and remotely from home.
Job Summary
M&C Saatchi Performance is seeking a driven and commercially astute Business Development Manager to lead new client acquisition across the UAE and broader MENA region. This is a critical role for expanding our footprint in a mobile-first, digital environment, focused on building strategic relationships with high-growth and established brands.
The successful candidate will bring a deep understanding of the mobile ecosystem, strong consultative sales capabilities, and the ability to operate autonomously while collaborating closely with global teams.
Reporting Structure
Reports to the Managing Director (EMEA), based in London. Also collaborates with the Global Sales Director and Global marketing team.
Responsibilities
- Identify, develop, and convert new business opportunities across mobile-first and app-first brands, with a focus on the UAE and wider MENA region.
- Build and execute a structured business development strategy with clear tactical plans and measurable outcomes.
- Manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting and lead qualification through to proposal, negotiation, and deal closure.
- Leverage existing industry relationships and networks to open doors and establish meaningful commercial conversations.
- Maintain high standards of CRM discipline in HubSpot to ensure accurate pipeline reporting, forecasting, and performance tracking.
- Work in close partnership with marketing to support thought leadership, event strategy, and lead generation initiatives.
- Collaborate with the global new business function and Regional MD to ensure alignment on goals, priorities, and best practices.
Candidate Profile
- At least 3 years of direct experience in new business development, ideally within mobile-first or performance marketing environments.
- Strong understanding of the mobile advertising landscape, including key trends, technologies, and stakeholders.
- Self-motivated and confident operating as the sole commercial representative in-region, with the support of a wider global sales, marketing and media team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; capable of engaging senior decision-makers and articulating complex value propositions.
- Strong organisational skills with a structured approach to strategy development, tactical planning, and performance reporting.
- Proficient in CRM platforms (preferably HubSpot or equivalent) and experienced in using sales tools such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
- Demonstrates a genuine interest in digital marketing and stays informed about industry trends and conversations.
- Fluent in English and comfortable working in a global, multicultural environment.
