Overview of the role:
To supervise & lead the performance of the BYD retail sales team across stores and pop-up locations, ensuring achievement of sales targets, delivery of exceptional customer experiences, and execution of operational excellence in line with BYD brand standards.

Overview of the role:
To supervise & lead the performance of the BYD retail sales team across stores and pop-up locations, ensuring achievement of sales targets, delivery of exceptional customer experiences, and execution of operational excellence in line with BYD brand standards.
What you will need:
Team Leadership/Supervision & Performance
- Lead, coach, and motivate a team of Sales Executives to achieve individual and team sales targets.
- Monitor daily performance metrics including leads, test drives, and conversions.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback and development plans.
- Ensure consistent delivery of a premium customer journey across all touchpoints.
- Resolve escalated customer issues and support the team in complex sales negotiations.
- Champion a customer-first culture and ensure alignment with BYD brand values.
- Oversee daily operations of retail stores and pop-ups, ensuring readiness, cleanliness, and compliance with visual merchandising standards.
- Coordinate with marketing and events teams to support activations and campaigns.
- Manage inventory levels, vehicle display, and test drive logistics.
- Track and report on sales performance, customer feedback, and market trends.
- Provide insights to senior management to support strategic planning and continuous improvement.
- Liaise with HR, training, and product teams to ensure team readiness and product knowledge.
- Work closely with aftersales and delivery teams to ensure seamless customer handover.
Minimum Qualifications and Knowledge:
- Written and spoken English is a must; 2nd language (Arabic/Russian/Mandarin) is beneficial
- 4-5 years sales experience preferability in mid-luxury retail industry
- 1-2 Years supervising/leading teams
- Valid UAE Driving License
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Passion for customer service and the automotive industry.
- Upselling skills and ability to create value from new products
- Exceptional written and spoken communication skills
- Strong negotiation skills, with evident ability to influence customer choices
- Excellent planning and scheduling
- Ability to multitask
- Understanding and experience with Microsoft Office applications, with proficiency in Microsoft Excel
